Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly encouraged Production Supervisor for our evening shift to supervise the manufacturing department at our Iberville plant. This function is important in making sure the green operation of production traces along with Microlectric, Receiving & Supply, Super Strut, and Joslyn merchandise. Reporting to the Director of the Business Unit, you’ll play a key position in retaining high standards of first-rate, protection, and productiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Manage: Supervise and manage a group of 20 to 30 employees on the nighttime shift. Your management might be vital in making sure that production goals are met correctly and effectively.
- Optimize Resources: Oversee potential making plans and resource optimization to make certain easy operations. Identify manufacturing deficiencies and enforce enhancements to enhance productivity.
- Implement Improvements: Identify and advise improvements to gadgets and technical centers. Your proactive approach will contribute to continuous development in manufacturing techniques.
- Coordinate with HR: Work carefully with HR management to ensure that the manufacturing team is properly prepared, staffed with equipped personnel, and managed successfully.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience handling unionized employees as a manufacturing supervisor or in a similar role. Proven experience on a manufacturing line is effective.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Your ability to apply these tools will help effective reporting and communication.
- Education: DEC in management or an associated discipline, or equal enjoyment.
- Language Skills: Fluent in spoken and written French. Your bilingual potential may be crucial for powerful communication in our bilingual work environment.
- Communication: Strong written and oral conversation capabilities. A collaborative and answer-focused approach will assist you in working effectively together with your team and other departments.
