Role Overview: Human Resources Generalist
As a Human Resources Generalist at Magna Body & Chassis Mississauga, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily HR sports through more than one feature, which includes Recruitment & Selection, Performance Management, Policy Development, Communication, Training & Development, and Employee Relations. The function is designed to ensure compliance with HR rules and enterprise policies whilst selling tremendous employee members of the family.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Provide steerage to employees on everyday worries, ensuring alignment with the Magna Employee Charter and business enterprise regulations.
- Recruitment & Selection: Manage full-time and temporary recruitment, together with task postings, candidate searches, interviews, and offer arrangements.
- Orientation & Training: Lead and replace the employee orientation program; manipulate education initiatives to ensure worker development.
- Performance Management: Assist in administering performance evaluations, making sure adherence to HR techniques and goals.
- Disability and Safety Support: Administer disability packages, support changed painting preparations, and assist with incident investigations.
- Disciplinary Actions: Administer modern field processes, making ensure compliance with investigation processes.
- Benefits Administration: Manage worker benefits sign-America and adjustments, retaining accurate information.
- Payroll Support: Facilitate verbal exchange of benefits, employee requests, and payroll adjustments.
- HR Documentation: Ensure accurate administration of worker statistics, which include schooling, blessings, and well-known statistics.
- Policy Development: Assist in the development and updating of organization regulations, applications, and the Employee Handbook.
- Committee Participation: Actively participate within the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) and different applicable committees.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly HR motion plans, and reviews, and contribute to audit outcomes and movement plans.
- Event Coordination: Organize employee meetings, presentations, communication boards, and social events.
- Project Management: Undertake project-pushed paintings as directed by the HR Manager.
Other Responsibilities:
- Adhere to and follow the Magna Employee’s Charter, Corporate Constitution, and Operational Principles.
- Ensure compliance with IATF customer necessities and examine all relevant federal and provincial guidelines.

- Educational and Professional Qualifications:
- Post-secondary or publish-graduate schooling in Human Resources Management.
- 3-5 years of progressive HR revel in, preferably inside a manufacturing surroundings.
- CHRP designation or operating closer to the finishing touch.
- Working expertise in modern-day employment regulation (ESA, HOSA, AODA) and HRIS structures (e.g., Workday).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
