Role and Responsibilities:-
- Accompany the General Manager in managing and reporting on the profit and loss position of the venue against the budget established for it.
- Alleviate operations through effectiveness in delivering Group & Events services at the venue.
- Oversee stocks and shrinkage for the pertinent departments.
- Optimise operations by developing and executing business plans and organizational development plans, and
- harmonizing organizational goals and productivity, quality, and service objectives.
- Ensure the facility looks clean and complies with the hygiene requirement standard and be informed on
- statutory requirements governing the health and safety of restaurants.
- The key strategies are recruitment, training, development, talent succession, goal setting, performance
- evaluation, and increasing the turnover of a particular department.
Improve the happiness index of employees by designing a conducive and employee-friendly workplace.
Qualifications:-
- Business and/ or hospitality-related post-secondary education qualification is recommended.
- It is essential to have had at least 3 to 5 years of restaurant/ venue management experience holding full P&L responsibility in a high turnover environment.
- Credibility in managing and supervising teams by offering staff development and organizational training and development programs to managers and other employees.
- Well-developed understanding of fundamental concepts, processes, operations, procedures, and best practices as applied to the restaurant business.
- Understand the tools of cost and incurrence, money management, and budgeting systems.
- Desirable skills in conflict resolution mechanisms, negotiation, and objection handling.
- Courtesy and interpersonal skills, proficient in the usage of verbal and written communication, confident while in presentation mode.
- Availability for evenings and weekends for meetings and events as necessary at the discretion of RAR.
