Position Overview:

Advanced Product Planning Specialist Responsibilities:
1. New Vehicle Feature Strategic Planning:
- Collaborating on the improvement of strategic plans for introducing new automobile functions that enhance protection, convenience, and personalization.
- Researching to broaden strategic proposals for brand-new car features, making sure that these plans get hold of the essential approvals.

2. Supporting Vehicle Portfolio and Powertrain Development:
- Assisting in the expansion of research aimed at determining the most efficient product portfolio and powertrains to meet the desires of Canadian customers.
- Researching and maintaining a Product Portfolio/Powertrain precis that outlines the organization’s path ahead over the next decade.
- Supporting the group through major milestones, making sure that TCI’s necessities are communicated and negotiated successfully.
3. Improvement of Compliance Strategy and Execution:
- Enhancing the robustness of strategic planning for compliance with Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV), Greenhouse Gas (GHG), and tailpipe policies over both near-time period (zero-three years) and long-time period (3-10 years) horizons.
- Supporting the optimization of strategies to ensure compliance with federal and provincial guidelines, especially in Quebec and British Columbia.
- Improving the expertise of Canadian marketplace conditions to inform future vehicle lineups.
- Analyzing the sales and cost influences related to compliance and future product-making plans.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- A University Degree or College Diploma in Business, Management, or Engineering.
- A minimum of three years of associated painting experience, preferably in the automobile industry, approach, or product management.
- Experience in Product Planning, Sales and Inventory Planning, and/or Connected Technology is taken into consideration as an asset.
- Strong storytelling abilities, with the ability to distill complex problems into easy, actionable hints for govt audiences.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is critical.
- A tested ability to persuade, negotiate, and build consensus horizontally and vertically within an organization.
